The indicator was born from a simple frustration: existing tools do not show the whole picture. Gross P&L is not real P&L. Your theoretical average after commissions is your actual position. That is what should be on your chart, and until OCTANE, it was not.

OCTANE, the On Chart Theoretical Average and Next Entry/Exit indicator, was built for traders who make multiple entries and exits during a single trade. It shows the real cost of a position, previews how the next order changes that cost, and includes every commission in the calculation. No omissions, no optimistic rounding.

The development roadmap includes enhanced visualization modes, integration with additional NinjaTrader analytics, and the live trading room described elsewhere on this site. OCTANE is an active project with ongoing development, not a static product collecting subscription fees.
